Gymnastics Kelly Sports

Coach Zayde was teaching us gymnastics body positions and some of the positions that we explored were

  • Tuck sit
  • L sit
  • Happy cat
  • Angry cat
  • Straddle sit
  • Motorbike landing
We had lots of fun doing these "floor work" positions and the hardest one was the straddle sit. We made a circle and got into the tuck sit and tried to get the ball around the circle and when we did that two time and dropped the ball a few times we then split the circle through the middle and got into two equal groups and made two equal circles. We then had to pass the ball as many times as we could and which ever team got the most rounds without dropping it won and my team won. Finally we tried to do it with hand stands but no one could hold it for long except for the coach who could also walk while holding a hand stand and so we ended up just practicing our hand stands.

I felt so energized and excited and I had so much fun.

Cyber smart

For this weeks cyber smart challenge, was to make a sheet and link each comment and see how many good comments you can do in a week. And in class we have a system where you have to do 25 quality comments a week. But if you get seen with a rubbish comment you have to make an extra comment and make sure it is good. Our target for each day is 5 comments and if you don't do that you have more work do catch up on the next day.
