job at PetCare. How much does she have now? $288+$127           $290+$130=$420      $420-$5=$415


Sarah has $466 in her bank account and

spends $178 on a new phone, how much money does she have left in her bank account?

434 at the beginning of lunchtime and sold

179, how many did they have left to sell? 

400-100=300/200 30/130-70=60/50  4/14-9=5 

200+50+5=255 so they had 255 muesli bars

left to sell.


Faloa is helping his Mum build a path. There were 438

bricks in the pile and they used 169 of them yesterday,

how many bricks have they got left for today?

430-160=270/260 18-9=9 260+9=269


Selena and her brother were counting sticks in the garden.

Selena counted 259 then her brother did a second count and

counted 435. What was the difference in their counts? 430-250=180/170 15-9=6

170-6=176

Bounce Back

Bad times don’t last stay optimistic

Other people can help if you talk to them 

Unhelpful thinking makes you more upset

Nobody is perfect not you not others

Concentrate on the positives

Everybody experiences sadness it is a normal part of life

Blame fairley 

Accept what can’t be changed

Catastrophizing exaggerates your worries don’t believe the worst possible picture

Keep things in perspective it's only part of life.
