Water Fun Day
Spectacular there is no other way of describing what
an amazing morning I had at Glenbrae schools
water fun day. The whole school participated
in this event and it was held today on the 5th of February 2021.
There was lava on the ground and our first activity
was called Lava flow. This activity requires you to
get a cup fill it with water and run flowing the W
shape of the bench the carefully jump down of the
bench and run in a zig-zag manner around the
cones and then jump through the hoop and then
run to your house colored bucket and tip all the
water that you have managed to keep in your cup
the sprint back like the Flash and pass the cup to your partner.
Next, the activity we had was the water slide
and it was extremely fun and it was very easy
to slide down on my first attempt I didn’t make
it down the whole way so I stood up and the I
instantly fell straight down on the last bit of the slide.
The next activity was called Pool fun that was
just getting in the pool and freestyling in the
pool. I went in with my sock and shoes. It
was really fun and I also got floaty and got
more confident at swimming. I enjoyed it.
The next super fun game was with Mr Nath and
it was called Holly Molly. In that game, the holly
was the cup with holes leaking all of the water out
and splish sploshing on the ground. We had to manage
To get all of the water to your house colored buckets
mine was kowhai and I got it in with some water left. It was really fun.
I couldn't wait for the next activity because it
was called SpongeBob.I like that activity because
it was challenging not to accidentally drop the sponge
or press it and releasing all the water it was a really fun
game. For this game you had to line up in a row of your
house colors mine was kowhai and I was at the second to
last person at the back of the line. So the person at the front
of the line dipped the sponge in the water then they pass over
or under and then if they pass it over then the next person has
to pass it under their legs and then the next person passes it
over their head so on until you reach the last person. When it
reaches the last person. The last person runs to their house
colored bucket and then they squeeze all the water out of the
sponge and run back to the house line and stand at the front
of the line and dip it in the water and pass it over or under.
That activity was really fun.
Finally, we reached the last activity and that was
my second favorite activity. For that activity, you
had to dip a cup of water and then run or walk on
the branches then go under then over the desks and
get into a hula hoop and pull it over your self then
sprint like the flash to your house colored bucket.
And tip all of the water you have managed to conserve in your cup.
This was one of my most favorite water fun days at Glenbrae
school. My favorite activity was fun in the pool. I felt all
hyped up for today and it was just sensational.
