Problem: That that the black people weren’t being treated nicely and were being segregated from white people.
Rosa parks: Refused to give her seated and was sick of being treated this way. She got arrested but after a while people realised why she did it and people stopped being rude to black men and women.
Well done for making it so far through this years' SLJ programme, "Changemakers: People who have changed the world" - thanks for telling us about the problem that Rosa Parks experienced on the bus.
I think that it's so brave and impressive of Rosa Parks to have done this in a time where people of colour (POC) were considered less than white people. Do you know how POC and white people were segregated?
